Hi, I've been playing Madden 2005 and Nba 2005 with my keyboard for way too long. I need a controller with analog sticks, I put the popular and avaible logitech dual analog (similar to playstation 2 controllers), but it just felt flimsy. I need a PS2 Dualshock compatable USB adapter to plug a dualshock 2 into my computer. I will also need a Dualshock controller. Can anyone suggest where to buy one? I'd prefer one with more than one port, but one is definitly fine.
I found one that fit my needs, with two ports, XG-Marco(whatever that is), and compatability with vibration and steering wheel ( PC steering wheels are generally more expensive, so I can knock two birds down with one stone). here , but the resellerratings for the place is about 1.63.
The product seems to be made by Xinga , and is their top of the line product.

Can anyone suggest where to find a PS2 Dualshock to USB adapter that supports vibration and many devices, and with more than one port (but not necessarily) ? Thanks
 
Just go to Radio Shack (if you have one nearby) and get one called "PSX To USB," it's a Radio Shack brand. I have one of them and it works magnificently. I think I bought it for $10 :) .

I got my little cousins those Radioshack ones and they work perfectly. I myself got the ones from Fry's.
 
Yes, the adapters from lik sang work...

I got the blue clear one with 4 ports. It supports 4 controlers and force feedback. It works great and everyone loves it.
 
Lik-Sang is reliable, but given their general policy of marking up whatever they can get their hands on... well, go for the Radio Shack adapter.

I myself just bought the most reasonably-priced adapter on eBay--it's either named or branded as Titanium--and it works just fine.
 
Does it matter whether I use dualshock 2 or just dualshock 1? I believe the difference is that all the buttons on dualshock 2 are analog, but will the adapters recognize all buttons as analog or only the joysticks?
 
You'll probably want to use a DualShock2, just for the sake of using the newer equipment. But there really isn't a difference between the DS1 and DS2, besides the name.
