I'm thinking about modding my PS2, nothing major. I'm thinking about cutting out the "PlayStation 2" stamp and having an LED light shine through. Anyone know of good LEDs that aren't too bright?

What else are some possible mods that can be done? Anyone have ideas?
 
I've seen the clear replacement cases and they look ugly. I'm thinking either a small window above the DVD-Rom or on the opposiste end. And I think a small LED, nothing too bright, would look nice. Perhaps a purple-ish blue.
