ok, so i took a ps1 lcd and hooked up to the svideo out put on my video card. itll probably turn into a mod, but ritght now im not sure. is there any way i oculd make the image on it clearer?

well here it is cleaned up, but the res is better in person my camera doesnt pick it up for some reason

is there any way you can tell me how you did this lol i baught one and had to take it back cause i couldnt think of a way to hook it up
 
I think you are running into problems with outputting a signal for a high resolution, to that low resolution screen. The PS1 LCD is only a 348 x 240 screen. I have noticed the same fuzzyness issues when I try to output from my laptop to my television. Unfortunately I dont know enough to help you solve your problem (I just stopped outputting to my TV since my laptop screen is almost as big lol)
 
That could be noise-related. You should double-check all of your electrical connections. Any loose or exposed bits will act as antennas and pick up noise that will make the picture fuzzy. As already mentioned, it could also be related to your resolution.
 
Is this an official PSOne screen made by Sony? If so, look at other PSOne threads, as you can hook them up via RGB. You get a compatable RGB (PSOne screens use 15kHz hor. refresh) out of a VGA port with the right program.

this is some intec screen, not a sony. its 4" instead of 5"

Actually it is a 640x480 VGA screen

It's not, though you can shove 640x480 interlaced into it, the physical res is still 348 x 240. You can't just hook it up to a VGA card and have it work, you have to run powerstrip to get the VGA card to output 15kHz horizontal refresh rate (VGA starts at 31kHz) and interlace the signal.

I have a 4" Intec screen too, it's not compatable with the RGB/VGA mod for PSOne screens, I've checked. The best you can give it is a clean composite signal.
 
OMG MY BROTHER IS A F**KING IDIOT!!! he was messing around with it and shorted out the inverter :mad: and i have a blown capacitor to deal with now. goddamnit anyone know of a site i can find a schematic of this so i can replace the capacitor?
