alrights...so my friend is sayin that cooler master cases are ugly and that this skyhawk one that he likes is much "cooler" looking than the centurion 531 and he says that no one thinks the cooler master one looks good at all....heck he even said the CM ATC-220 looks ugly bc of the green tinted window....am i the only one that KNOWS the cooler master one looks much better? please post to prove to my nub friend that cooler master is a top notch brand, thanks in advanced :D
 
does it really mean that much to you what he thinks? or are you just fishing for some coolermaster validation? Sounds like to me he's just being a punk and trying to get a rise out of you... this is such a subjective thing... what one person likes another very well might not... to each his/her own...
 
Show him the Asus Vento...but seriously I think the Coolermaster is better looking...though I agree with your friend somewhat in that I think its somewhat ugly too...

CM ATC-220 pwns them both though...find pics of that ultra clean water cooling machine and show those to him.

yeea i did show him liquid_cooled's case but he said that looks clean bc the window wasnt green lik the stock one

and to the guy up top, hes tryin to tell me that everyone thinks that the skyhawk looks much better wen i know that many peeps know that the CM looks better
 
i forgot to mention that he even said thermaltake was a better brand then cooler master and taht reviews even said so...iono where he heard that from
 
It's called an "opinion". Everyone is entitled to their own.

My "opinion" is that they are both equally ugly.

There are better things to worry about than what your friend thinks is a nice case.

Show him this, or this, or this and see if you guys can agree on something.

yes that is true and my bad for makin this thread seem taht way but him sayin that everybody thinks the skyhawk looks better is wat started me off and sayin that cooler master was made cheap cases......sorry bout that tho and thanks for posting, greatly appreciated ;)
 
So just smack him around a bit, and tell him YOU think the Packard Bell XS was the most technologically advanced case ever built. That should keep him occupied enough to make him forget about the Skyhawk case.

Or why not just do this: Say "Yes, you are right, how could I be so dumb?" and just be done with it. That's what I do when my wife says my opinion is wrong. Then we kiss and make up, and you know what happens after that. Hopefully the kissing and making up part won't happen with you and your friend though. :p

haha nice.....well sumhow, in a randomistic ( :p ) way he started looking at the cooler master cases and said that he kinda thinks they are nice including the centurion 530, cavalier 3 and the praetorian 730 (ugly front door but NICE NICE features)....but damn outtta all the skyhawk cases, he likes that one :confused: makes me wonder why he doesnt lik the quality ones lik the lian li one :p

I can't satnd Lian Li Cases and prefer my Gaming Bomb II over them.

I owned the same skyhawk case.

shite air flow. near useless front intake and a 60mm on the back.

utter junk.

nah it really dont matter juss its kidna childish of me of making it seem taht way but him juss sayin that cooler master cases suck and such juss set me off and now his retarded ass starts to say he kinda lik them :confused:
 
Cases are designed differently to fit different peoples needs, likes and tastes. Cars are also built the same way. So your friend likes a case that you don't, are you saying that because he is your friend he must have the same taste in PC cases (or anything else for that matter) as what you have??

no i did say that he set me off but him sayin cooler master was a horrible brand that makes horrible casees ticked me off since CM does make nice cases (not juss aesthetically_)

I really think you missed the point of the case here. Sure sometimes they are a fashion statement or an expression of your personality, but when it comes down to it they are there to hold a comp.

Personally I dislike Lian Li's because I believe they are over priced. I grabbed a chenming full tower and took the door off so I could throw a 120mm intake in the bottom 3 5 1/4" bays. That was almost six months ago. Somebody might say it looks lame, but it keeps my ambient down so I really dont care.

Functionality first, not looks.

On another note, would you mind spell checking and attempt to use some decent grammar. Again personal preference here so feel free to ignore this, but reading "taht" for the fourth time begins to make it look like you are doing it on purpose.

yes that is true, and the CM would be the better choice since it is much sturdier and has better cooling

and for lian li's....i dont mind them at all, but the lower end lian li's are juss not my taste and i prefer the simple internal layout like the praetorians and yes they are pricey but u get wat u pay for

as for the grammer....im juss typin like this to save time and if people can understand me, then thats all that matters ;)

I only like absolutely perfectly symmetrical cases made out of aluminum with 1 square window (i.e. pc 65) oh yeah, and I only like silver and red

Personal preference aside, Coolermaster argueably has the higher build quality and design.

I would actually recommend he just get this instead..

I like the CM Stacker case personally, I would like to get a new case to replace my Tsunami case, there are some things about it thats bugging me more than it used to. The Asus Vento case, I'm sure functionality probably sucks but that might be the only case in the world where it might actually help a guy pick up girls. :D
 
No offense to you or you friend but neither of those cases appeal to me.
I'm more of a trendwhore when it comes to cases. I like modern, sleek and unqie types of cases. However, I think both would make fine choices in both quality and style so it all comes down to personnal taste as they are pretty much the same "basic" design and price.
 
yea yea i kno lik i said i blew up and he ended up getting the CM cavalier 3
