Well, I just got a new A70 to replace an old Olympus 1.3. It seems like a fantastic camera, but I was hoping to get some pointers on how to use it better. So far, I have only used the "Auto" mode (which takes great pics IMO), but was wanting to start learning a bunch more about it, and how to take some really nice shots. Can you give a newB some help to get me started?
 
Well first off read the manual. But aside from that you might try the site http://dpreview.com and, register for the forums there. Then go into the Nikon D70 forum. There are generally quite a few answers to be found.

I'm pretty sure he meant the A70 forum, not the D70.

neah, generally the only two groupies fueding back-n-fourth are the Digital Rebel and the D70 guys.

A70 people need not apply. :D
