Protecting LCD - UPS or Surge Protector?

Hello Everyone:

What do you guys think is the best solution to protect an expensive LCD? Aside from being able to run on battery, are there any advantages of using a UPS over a good quality surge protector?

The UPS will condition the line, eliminate noise, and act as a reliable method against it getting zapped by lightning.
 
So the general advantage is conditioned power (ups) vs unconditioned (surge protector).

Are those cheap 325VA Cyberpower UPS sufficient in terms of surge protection, etc?

I have heard that they are decent, though the APC brand is more trusted. The power isnt enough for any major load, but it should definately work as a great surge protector.
