I recently upgraded to a x1900xt from an x850xt. My powerstream 520 couldnt handle the load jump... considering I have a ton of other stuff on it as well. Watercooling and overclocking can help tax a psu pretty good!

So after a week or so of having the new card... the 520 gave up the ghost. *blink* The system just shut off. I tested the psu and it would not turn on via manual jumper or my frozenCPU psu tester.

I unwired it from my system and stuck it on the shelf. Ordered a new 700watt OCZ from newegg, as I thought I killed my 520.

I called up OCZ to relpace it. Told them what was up, and they emailed me an RMA form. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Upon hearing my testing and symptoms... they said "lets get it shipped back here, and we'll get you a new one out tomorrow."

Come to find out that the psu has an overload protection circuit... so after sitting on the shelf overnight... I hooked it back up to the tester and it fired right up!

Props to OCZ for their very impressive customer service and their top notch power supplies.

I'm confused...you ordered a 700w GameXstream from Newegg and then got an rma for your 520 from OCZ? Are they sending you a new 520?

No, they are not sending me a new one, because the old one was not broken. They would have replaced my old 520 if I wanted them to.

Yes OCZ customer service is phenomenal. They have bent over backwards to accomodate me in certain things I am not at liberty to freely discuss but put it this way, if they manufacture a type of hardware, my first choice would always be their brand.
