What is the proper voltage my p4 should be running at? Right now the cpu core is around 1.48v-1.506v and cpu I/O is at 1.43v. I can set voltage with my bios. Do these numbers seem low like my psu is weak? I dont oc obviously.

As long as your system's stabile, those numbers are fine. My P4 3.0C runs at 1.50v normally. There should be an option in the BIOS that says "CPU Voltage" or something along those lines. If you can, set that value to "Auto" or "Normal".

Ok just wanted to make sure that it was ok. The system is stable but I wanted to make sure I wasnt missing out on any performance. You can only monitor voltage in the bios but not make adjustments, damn intel board.

Deppends on the stepping of your chip...

Could be anywhere from 1.425-1.55

Usually in .5 volt increments, any other readings are from the board getting too much voltage in from the PSU, or from teh PSU not giving enough voltage to supply everything.

At any rate as long as you're settings keep it above 1.4v you should be nice and stable, the P4 ain't too sensitive as long as its running cool enough.
