Promise 4310 boot issues

So I just got a Promise 4310 card from a friend to upgrade my server storage from 2x250GB RAID 1 to a 4x750GB RAID 5 array. The problem that I'm having is that I'm now required to press the spacebar to boot into Windows when the raid setup utility screen comes up. If I don't press the spacebar, the computer hangs and doesn't boot. Has anyone run into this before?

have you checked your bios to make sure the first boot device is your 4320 ?

Unplug all of the drives, Boot with card in with no drives attached. Update Driver / Software / Firmware for the card.

Shutdown, Add drives. Turn computer on, then re-create the array in the Promise BIOS utility.

I'm not booting off the 4320, I have a 2x250GB RAID1 as my system drive. I installed MS Server 2k3 Enterprise on that, then installed the 4320 afterwards. The bios is the latest version, which was the first thing I checked before even plugging in the drives.

Sondo:
Boots fine with no drives, but as soon as the drives are attached it hangs.

I'm thinking there is some simple setting somewhere that I'm just not finding. I've disabled the 3rd party boot in the MB bios, same boot configuration as I had before.... Floppy, CDROM, HDD-0 (which is my RAID 1 array).
