ProMedia 5.1 and XBOX

Okay I asked this in the HotDeals thread about these speakers but it fell on death ears.

I want these speakers, and will ultimately get them, but not having my new box built yet leaves me with no real reason (other than price, worried they may go up) to get them. Unless I can of course get them hooked up to my XBOX (this comp Im on sucks, and has no room for 5.1 speakers). With HALO2 coming out I am soooo tempted to buy them but without a Digital Decoder on board and the XBOX not sending out the proper signal I will be screwed.

Unless of course I buy a digital decoder, Klipsch makes one but at $150 its not worth it to me.

My question is, are there any cheaply priced digital decoders out there? (under $60-80)
Can I hook these up to the XBOX and although not have true 5.1 still have them work?
Is there any reason for me to buy these now, or should I just wait a bit and finish my new comp first?

Oh and I am willing to "jerry-rig" a cheap DVD player with a digital decoder to get it to work.... any and all Hard-Mod options are welcome.

Newegg has a digital decoder for $97 after a rebate.

Otherwise I don't know of any other options.

BTW dell has a real nice deal on the promedias going on, I just bought mine yesterday for $313.
