I see many recommendations for the Promedia 2.1s as the best 2.1 system around.

Are these new model Promedias, or the same Promedia 2.1s that have been around for 3+ years? I recall quite easily that there were several speakers that were considered by many to be superior to the Promedias (Diva Swans, Altec 621s, Monsoons with proper imaging placement).

So are these the same old Promedias that everyone is raving about, or has Klipsch updated the 2.1s they same way they updated the 5.1s to the "Ultras."

On Klipsch's website it says they are available in 120 and 230 volt versions. But I've never seen the ability to choose. They also made the GMX A-2.1's which are less powerful.

when klipsch made improvements to the cross overs and everything about the satellites in general they put out the promedia 2.1 and 4.1 systems. the "promedia 4.1" replaced the "promedia v2-400" 4.1 system. that was about year 3 ago yes. since them i havnt know about any updates.

but it is likely however that the more recent updates apperent in the new 5.1 ultras will be carried over to the 4.1 and 2.1 satellites.
