It looks like my GF2MX PCI has bit the dust. I can't get a machine to boot if it's the only video card in the system & the bios doesn't seem to recognise it- setting it to use a PCI card as the main display does nothing.
Strangely enough it still works in Windows, but Linux complains about a cmos checksum error if I try to initialize it with int 10.

Now I'm looking at cheap PCI cards. I'm thinking I'll get a 5200 pci. So far I've found Chaintech, Prolink, and Apollo. Any thoughts on which one is best?

I'm leaning towards the Chaintech just because thier mainboards seem to get used a fair amount around here, though the Prolink comes with a DVI adapter, which is nice.

edit: The Prolink is *out*. It's a 5V only "legacy" card, and I need this to work in one of my PCI-X slots. So now it's between Apollo and Chaintech.
