The gang at Overclockers Club have the Prolimatech Panther heatpipe HSF strapped to the test bench today for a little review action. Here's a quote from the full review:

Overall, the Prolimatech Panther is quite the air cooler. Although I’ve been away from air coolers since receiving and modifying my ECO ALC about a year ago, the Panther really came out of the woods. I wasn’t expecting such amazing thermal performance for something its size - compared to the Megahalems, this is slightly smaller.

What a useless review. Who cares on how it preforms on an old slightly overclocked amd tri-core? Even then why don't you compare it to a popular cooler like a 212+? We have no idea how good your bad their hacked up watercooling setup is.

+1000

AMD CPU's typically don't get past the low 60's. They should at least do a 920 OC'd to 4 GHz+ to really test the thermal performance. These heatsink reviews just seem so lazy.
