Prolimatech mehahelims+asus p6t dlx ram clearance

Anyone using the above cooler and motherboard, (p6t dlx v2), im wondering if the megahelims, when used with a 25mm fan will it cover any ram slots on the board. My ram is ocz reaper tri channel. Thanks in advance.

if the TRUE fit the megahalem should fit as well its not all that much larger then the TRUE..

I use the TRUE with my mobo (same as the one you mentioned), and it fits perfect fine.

I was even able to put a 40mm on the NorthBridge heatsink as well. It was close, but did fit with a TRUE

Thanks guys, im currently using a TRUE black which fits fine.

However the megahelims is 10mm thicker than the TRUE before the addition of a 25mm fan.

I have a p6x58d and an Armageddon and it sits over 1cm away from closest ram stick.
10mm thicker means about 5mm on each side, you should be fine!

Why would you switch coolers when you have a TRUE black?

ITs like wasting money for MAYBE a 1-2c difference? (even if that?)

The TRUE wil be going into a second system i have, s775 core 2 quad rig, its currenty on the stock intel cooler, not much good for overclocking on.
