hi, im thinking of getting a data projector installed for movie, tv and some presentation stuff. Im having trouble deciding on the best path to take.
i firgure it comes down to two options
1. Have the data projector hooked up to a computer using a vid card, then have a tv in card that takes the reception and a sound card that handels the speakers.
2. get the normal tv stuff such as degital box, amp etc.

i think using the computer option sounds the best.
I was also thinkning would some digital 5.1 computer speakers be a deasent option for sound? (alot cheaper than getting home entertainment equipment)

most projectors come with 800x600 resolution, what means non-native for TV-type application. I'd think adjusting the resolution via a computer with tuner card and dedicated video card will give you better results then using the "build-in" capability to handle lower resolutions.
