does anybody do it? I'm considering picking up an acer k11 or LG HS200 as they are both LED projectors and longevity is important to me.

Any recommendations on setup and best practices?

Dude....I never thought about it but could you imagine being able to properly contour 3 screens and have 3 60 inch projections on eyefinity...that'd be cool as hell...

Did a quick search and found this guy on Newegg...seems to be a nice projector but your looking at about a 4k dollar initial investment and then 1200 dollars every 4000 hours of operation give or take. Though 4k hours is about a year and a half if you used them 8 hours a day every day. or just shy of a year (333 days) if you had them on for 12 hours every day. Along with the projector, ive linked an adequate UPS device that would protect the bulbs in case of power outage. You'd be drawing 200W per projector and the UPS can do 810 for about 2 minutes....long enough to notice the power outage and shut the things off...im assuming it doesnt draw the full 200W once shutdown has been initialized.

Oh ya...the links lol:
