i plan on building a new computer stocked with nifty lighting done by khanable and I was wondering if anyone knows or thinks this would be possible. I'm also not sure if it would look right either but here goes.

I want to dremmel or cut out a ying yang into the top of my case ad mount a strob light underneath it. This way when I turn the strobe on, it will project a strobing ying-yang onto the ceiling, since the light will be going through the cut out. Any comments or ideas?

You will need some sort of columnating optics in order to acheive a sharp look. Otherwise, it'll be pretty blurry. Though, the fast action of the strobe may counteract the lack of optics. not sure.
