Okay so here it goes this is my first ever build log so I will do my best to document and photograph the process and share it with you guys. The premise of this build is a small form factor PC I can use as a main PC and take with me to LANs, and also be easily transported cross country, all while having bleeding edge performance that puts large no compromise rigs to shame. Oh and will all be built in 1 week.

Day 1: Parts ordered!

So just to tease you guys a little here are some of the parts I ordered.

no video card? just fyi, the prodigy is a righteous sff case, but not the smallest by any means. those large handles make the outside much much bigger than the inside which may be a pain for transporting by plane. if you mean cross country driving, then no prob. gonna be sweet!

This is at a farewell LAN with my friends, and I forgot my camera so the pictures are a little nicer.

Y U NO 690? jk man sick card, and build looks awesome. that is such a great case.

I consider this build to be completely in line with my tastes. I think the only alterations I would have done if anything would have been different fans (but so much preference goes into that anyway), an SSD (not sure if you have on in there or not), and maybe a blu-ray drive, just cause. Everyother part (motherboard, cpu, gpu, ram, psu, WC unit), case, form-factor, etc I think is subjectively perfect.

I just ordered this, as well as an H100, and 2 SSD's are in store for this rig as well.

wow, 750w for a single gtx680? :x

nice build btw. i would have recommended a white casing psu like a nzxt hale (assuming it fits the case) to match the prodigy.

I looked at getting one, but decided against it, the main reason for the high wattage is for overclocks and peak efficiency is attained at around 50% load.

yikes too big!

Sorry I'm on a 30" it didn't even occur to me, resizing now.

Some more toys showed up today!

I wonder whats inside . . .
img1366qj.jpg

Sweet!
img1367mk.jpg

Also something smaller and more awesome showed up today as well, more on that later though.

So now for the secret ingredient, for this build.
