Well, I've finally gotten the system stable (well mostly anyhow) and I've had the opportunity to start the mods. I decided to go with the ideas that were given to me by Harlequin in my FIRST CASE MOD IDEAS thread and went with the Return of the Living Dead theme. I have sculpted the face which you can see here unpainted I plan on slightly distressing and partially painting the plexi that this will be under so it won't appear so sharp to the onlooker:

and here's a quick shot of the system guts.

I forgot to get a pic of the handles that I'd installed, but I installed two Stanley heavy duty handles on the top of the case as well. And I'm thinking about cutting off the air intake on the front bezel, using mesh and tearing a whole out of it to have a zombie hand bursting through or I've also thought of sculpting numerous grave markers and just have them in a jumbled pile but what I'm doing on the other side panel is pretty easy just spray on in flat almond paint "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CALL 1-800-***-**** whatever the number may be. I plan on using a faux rust paint technique on the entire case to make it look like the "zombie barrel" is weathered.

let me hear what you think.

A picture is worth a 1000 words and your second one is down. So it's hard to visualize. ;)

side question..is that an Antec 1650B? looks like the one I just got :D

I think it is, but honestly, I don't really know off hand. This isnt the case that I thought I was ordering, the one that I had meant to order has the door on the front, but this one just exposes the removable media drives.

Well no new pics to upload, but I just got finished with the plate metal "gasket" that will go around the window (plasma cut 14ga steel) I have it primed and will paint it tonight already did a free hand spray on the window to darken the acrylic and kinda give it a dirty look, still not sure if I should paint the zombie head, but will decide on it later. I suppose I'll have the whole case assembled in the next week or so, I'm really sick of looking at parts strewn about the bedroom, I'm ready to get this thing together.
