these photos were taken after applying a 2nd coat of the stain / polyurethane combo.

I will take steel wool to it again, and apply one ore two more coats.

I need to wire up the push buttons to the MB for power and reset. I need to connect a molex connector to the two fans that are going to blow across the processors. I need to make some small blocks to mount the LCD character display. and finally finish the wiring to a small relay board to turn on the 750W power supply when the 1st power supply turns on.
 
Looks like a fun job to wire up :D I'd drop by to assist if I lived nearby ;)

it's almost done. I can't wait to plug it in, and start moving files from the old file server, and de-commission it.
 
:eek: I haven't updated for a long, long time.

The system is running great, and I am upgrading it with some more hard drive space.

The only thing I haven't finished is the top lid, and the display readout on the front.

With the holiday season, i've been extremely busy with work, only getting 1 or no days off, until the end of December.

I'll try and keep this thread updated.
