So I've had this radio since 2000 when I got my first apartment during college. It's been in my family since it was purchased in 1939 from Sears, Roebuck. The radio, although could turn on, had a frayed power cord and would not play anything. It would just light up the front face. So I've had it more so as decoration for the past 11 years. It's been in a non working condition for longer. So my fiance and I talked about it, and she stated "Would there be any way to put something in that to make it of use?" That's when I chimed in and said that I've always wanted to build the media center inside of it or some form of jukebox. "Well, then why not do that?" is her reply after I filled her in on my past ideas with it. So here it is.

Project Scope:

The project will take place while the Onkyo SR606 has it's HDMI daughterboard replaced. The case itself will keep most of it's aesthetic appeal due to the sheer nature of the case being an antique.
