First of all: Hello everybody att [H]ard forums.

I have been browsing this forum for quite a while now, i signed up just today.
And i think it might be a good idea to show you my project.

Some bakground on my proj: I have thought about doing a extensive modding project for quite a while now, it´s only been 2 weeks since i begun, since money+ time has been scarce for a while it feels really good to finally get started with this. The project is to remake a standard midtower into a bigger, not quite fulltower, but bigger than the standard midi. Hence the title "semi-tower" :p

So, let´s begin!

This is a sketch for the front, the design has been changed a bit, the light blue plexi seen at the top of the front will instead be a 2x24 pixel LCD display. Black bg with orange txt.

This is the stripped down original midi tower, sorry but there are no before pics, but just picture a standard beige miditower :D

This is the bottom end of the case, with a new bottomplate. Sorry that it´s a bit blurry, but the pics are taken with my phone. Ne ways the length of the chassi is now 500mm, instead of the original 430mm.

This is the design for the sideplate, with dark blue plexi and a celtic cross, that will be enngraved with a dremel.

Sorry about the big steps between the pics, but i don´t have enough time to take pics, because im doing this att school, and i only have 175 minutes a week, and i need to make the most of them. Anyways, here i have started to heighten the case, from about 450mm to 570mm. And i have also started to make a 120mm hole for a fan, that will suck air to the watercooling.

And here is a pic just after cutting the hole. No sanding done yet though.

And here is the same thing, just after spotwelding, and grinding down the edges, not done yet, but hey, it´s progress :D

And a pic to show you the full extent of the backside of the case.

Here it is with the other side on to, i wont go into details, becasue it´s basically the same as the other side.

This is the new "roof" :D quite nice it if i say so myself :p

I have also put in a shelf just to have a place to hide the watercooling, because i want the comp to be as clean as i can possibly make it on the inside.

And now: My sideplate window design. Yaay :D

And the mobo side.

That´s all ive got so far, more will come soon :D Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Oh, by the way, if you want to se more pictures, go to http://forum.sweclockers.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=496688

The thing is, the text is in swedish, and didn´t have the time to make an exact copy in english.
