looks nice... that norco case keeps tempting me

but with high density, large capacity drives, i do not "need" 20 bays......

it looks great.

are you going to buy the $99 supermicro dummy SATA2 cards? for the extra drives?

or does that mobo have 8+ sata connectors?

I love my ninja mini on my phenom x4 w/o a fan

For now..just going with onboard SATA. Will be getting a card within the next couple of months. Since it's a Quad Core, the onboard will suffice...performance won't be that great but at least the Quad can handle those chores easily.

My only gripe is that they don't make faster slim blue ray drives so i'm going to have to go external for Blue Ray/HD-DVD rips to the server via My Movies/Any DVD HD for WHS.

This is just part one of phase one, there are 4 more phases after the server..it will get better...lol...hence the project name.
