I've been wanting to build a w/c system for a while now and finally made the commitment to save up some dough for the parts.
I'm calling this project immortal because...well it hasn't fallen apart on me yet
. This was my first dremel project and I've hacked and slashed my way thorugh this case for the past year. But the fact that the case is still in rocksolid condition is a testament to the quality of lian-li products!! I've been working on this case for a while but decided to start writing about it now because it's nearing its final completion. This w/c project will be the last thing I do before it goes into retirement and i wanna end it with a bang!!!
I was most definitely motivated and inspired by two specific threads...the rev n roli worklog and black narcissus...both top quality cases and excellent worklogs. Without those 2 threads, I probably would've never gone through with this project and wasted all my money this summer on girls and yager bombs and other stupid stuff
So...here are my parts, fresh out of the box from performance-pcs:

Swiftech Apogee
Maze4 SLI kit
2x Black Ice GTS 120
2x Panaflo 110cfm
Mcp 655
Alphacool Bullseye
DD Fillport
8' Clearflex 60 1/2"
Also picked up some algaecide from Petco, coolant from the audi dealership, and distilled water/vinegar from smart & final.
I'm gonna try to cram all of that into this:

When I was building a new system last year, I wanted a conservative case that still looked catchy. The lian-li V series was perfect for what i wanted to do and add the legednary lian-li quality and i was hooked! But...which size? The v1000 was too claustraphobic and the v2000 wouldn't fit on top of my desk, so naturally I picked the one inbetween. The v1200 case is perfect because you have the depth of the full tower v2000 at the v1000 height. I'm still tryign to figure out why the majority of the v-series i see are the 1000's ???
I started on this pretty late tonight and I'm tired from work so I'm just clean out all the blocks and prep everything for a busy day tomorrow:

Gotta love that mirror finish
