Project images onto ceiling?

I have a friend with a party pad looking to fill the void on the tin ceiling. He would like some type of laser device that can display things such as "miller lite", or various light shows onto the ceiling. Anyone know of a device like this that isn't ridiculously expensive "under 5g"? We are not looking to put on a pink floyd show here, just some cool lights to look at while partying. He also has a computer that he could hook it up to.
 
wow no suggestions on projecting trippy images onto the ceiling using something other than a tv projector?
