Hello everyone. I was thinking the other day about doing something kind of unique. It was kind of based on the guy who had the paperclip and basically traded it for a house. What I was thinking was I got this old case laying around my house (was used for my rig in college) and thought I wonder what I could do with this.
Heres the concept: I'll send the case to anyone out there that wants to mod it. Then whoever has anything laying around their house that they dont need can send it to this master modder to add to the case. For example, someone has a used athlon xp chip can send it to the modder and he can use it in the project. If somewhere down the road someone wants to trade say an athlon 64 754 chip for the socket a chip then we can do that. I mean, I'm not expecting some uber C2D or AM2 rig to come out of this but something kind of cool. I see you guys come up with some really neat mods and was thinking that we all could contribute to something - like a community case mod.
After it is all finished I'll pay to have it shipped back to me and I'll donate it to my local high school that I graduated from - if its something they could use.

Again, I'm not sure if this is going to be cool with the mods. I dont really care if something gets broken because I was probably going to throw the case away to begin with. I'm also not asking people to donate top of the line stuff....just things that are laying around the house. Each person that contributes would have to pay for the shipping to whoever is going to undertake the project then once its done I'll pay to have it shipped to my home. I'll see if I can get the local newspaper involved and give everyone their due. Again, if this isnt kosher with the mods then please lock the thread and forget this ever happened.
