Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I bought a case from Frozen CPU... regret it ever since, overpaid for a window-ed chenming and the windows popped out, could never get them back in, I shipped it back to them and they claimed I NEEDED a new window because it was scratched during shipping... I said no I don't really care I just want a functional case... they said they don't want their product out there with scratchs, it'll make them look bad.
In the end I shelled out like another $50 for a window... when I got it, it had already popped out of the rubber molding meant to hold it in, I gave up and threw it away... (after it sat in my closet for 2 years)
That case is awesome. I have a couple old dell cases in the basement. We're talking Pentium II's. Some good possibilities. You really did a fantastic job on your mod and I am certainly impressed. I'd love to see that published on a website.
I didn't get to read through the whole mark-john square off, but what companies don't realize is that when they don't give good, fair and understanding customer service, they lose your present business, but also all of your future business and the potential business of people in your sphere of influence. By refunding or replacing your cables (which I doubt were very much), everyone would be happy. You would have your good cables, and frozencpu would have a happy present and continuing customer. These kind of problems happen when you have non-business minded people running a business. Sometimes you need to sacrifice a little now to bring in future profit.
Anyways, that is an outstanding mod. One of the best I've seen. I hope to do something similar sometime.
Now that I look at it again, the Auzentech [nice card btw!] would block the exhaust anyways. An aftermarket cooler with a slot exhaust on it might be a better solution, especially if you go SLI. This machine must just chew up Oblivion and spit it back out even at max settings.
