To start this worklog, I'd like to say that it will be another two weeks or so before I can start finishing this up. These pictures are only preliminary setups, because I'm impatient and I just had to see how awesome it's going to be .

A small update. Installed and wired all 80mm fans and cathodes, drilled out and mounted pump, and decided to go with bayres instead of Tank-O-Matic. I know it kind of kills the theme involved with FMA (philosopher's stone tanks), but seeing as availability is total crap, I decided to go with this instead.

Also ordered X850XT PCIe, AMD64 3700+ San Diego, and Lite On DVD/RW combo drive last night, having it overnighted to my house to complete build ASAP

If you've ever watched FMA, you'd see a tank that has a liquid form of the philospher's stone, which is pink/red. I had planned on using an Innovatek Tank-O-Matic, because it bears a resemblance to the tanks used in the show, and UV red dye to mimic the philosopher's stone fluid. Also going to be powdercoating the interior a bright red, etching the window with an image of Scar, and having the side panel painted by Jeral Tidwell at MML. Unfortunately, the Tank-O-Matic, at the time of ordering, was out of stock at every single e-tailer known to me within the US. Sharka was the last place that had it, and when I finally had the money, it was suddenly gone. I got an email from them saying that they will have it back in stock sometime soon, and I will be getting it ASAP. A secondary theme of it is the alchemical circles, and I want to see if I can get some laser cut to spec to be fan grilles.

It's a little rushed, because I wanted to have a computer for MML, and I will be doing this more extensive work to it afterwards. I still personally think it looks decent, though not to a FMA level :/

PS. trash on the floor is....tacky....and disgusting. I can understand computer packaging, wrap, and general computer parts on the floor (to be picked up afterwards).On the other hand, empty drink and food (I hope they are empty) containers on the floor...is nasty. Oh, vacuums are your friend.

Bummer about the res. That would have been hella sweat if you could have put one in. I don't know how good your caligraphy skills are but drawing one of the circles on the tank would kick ass. Seeing as how the bay res has a nice flat face, you could still paint something on it.

I did do some modding I had to cut out the top of the case, which kind of freaked me out because I didn't want to mis-cut and ruin a PC-75, so the radiator's mounted up there (BIX3), along with 6 coolermaster 120mm's. Vid card and processor are coming tomorrow. I'm also trying to think of how to integrate automail into it, I think that could have a nice effect.

Edit: I also modded the PSU a bit, I swapped out the icky green fans for quieter, red LED coolermaster ones as well. Only problem was that the OCZ fans used the small 2 pin header, and i had to do a bit of wire swapping to get it to fit right.

I'm building this while I'm lanning with 4 other people too, so there's food and pizza stuff around as well, I don't want to clean it up and immediately have another mess on hand 20 minutes later :/

Edit: If anyone here is going to MML, I will be sitting in section 2 with the GruntvillE people (GruntmaN, DickNervous, and I believe mashie and Crimson_Sky will be in that section as well, though I'm not sure)

Yeah, I think I'm going to etch an image of Scar, along with some of the runic images that are tattooed on his arm, along with lightning coming from his fingers. I'd also like to rig up a string of LEDs to illuminate the etching.

Wow that thing is BRIGHT! Looking nice with the rad up top. It would be cool if you could shroud those top fans tho... the sides of them are kinda not fitting the theme as well as they could. Otherwise, keep modding...

I plan on doing that as well, just don't have enough time for it. Also need a supply of the same gauge aluminum that's also brushed black :/
