I figure I'll post this simple mod that anyone can do 
Some of you will always want to fiddle with your CMOS, OCing or simply trying things out such as memory timings, or even hard drive configuration, RAID, etc.. And sometimes, it's a pain to locate the CMOS reset (i.e. if you haven't played with it in a while, and manual is nowhere to be found), or jumper is located in a very unusual location (i.e. SFF) or you're simply too lazy to open the side panel, lay your rig flat on the floor, and clear the jumper. Of course, if you run your rig "bare" then there's no need for this
A simple solution is to make a little external jumper. Have you seen those LED connectors? Use that kind of jumper, hook it up on your Mobo's CMOS reset header. Then, use the cable trailing from both ends to one of this "push button" switch which is always "open". Everytime you push the button, it will short the CMOS reset jumper, clearing it for you
...to make it better, add a safety switch so even if you accidentally pressed it, it won't clear the cmos
....it's a very simple mod really. i asked one of the metal cutter to make the switches fit in one of the PCI cover. It's stickin' out of one of the PCI slots.
Variation: in some instance where you have a 3pin CMOS reset jumper, then you will need a different switch, where the default is always shorting the "default" jumpers. i.e., if you have 1-2-3 pins, where 1-2 pin is clear cmos, and 2-3 is default, then your switch should be set to short 2-3 as "default" and 1-2 is only triggered if you "on" the switch.

Note: This diagram uses two spring switches instead of what I described above. You need to press two buttons simultaneously (to prevent accidental reset).
