Doing my first mITX system. End result will have about the same computing power as the full tower build Im switching from (with a NZXT Switch 810) in a much smaller, lighter setup.

The whole build will be all black and white. The mobo has a touch of gold accent though, but shouldnt be able to really tell when its all together.

The case isnt due for release untill 7/7 (which of course is a Saturday, so probably wont get it until the 10th/11th).

Corsair just released new Dominator Platinums. They are black/white with bar that goes over top with LEDs (no clear indication of the default color, only that multiple colors will be available, so if they arent white, Ill remove the LEDs until they release white if they do). So I put in an order for the only kit available right now of them, 1866Mhz 2x4GB 9-10-9 1.5V. The scaling of timings vs speed on the higher end kits is pretty linear, so Im expecting them to be the same ICs and clock up to the higher speed kits (2400-3000Mhz). Based on the speeds/timings Im guessing they are highly binned Samsung ICs in the upper kits, and less binned in the lower kits. But all the HCH9s and HYK0s Ive seen do well with Ivy.

The board is very nice. I didnt want to get my hopes up because its Asrock (which Ive had nothing but bad expierances with in the past) and mITX, so I was pleasently suprised when I got it going. Also, the 3570K I picked up is the best one Ive had yet (my 5th one). 4.7Ghz 1.22V LinX AVX stable with an H100, and no trouble really with 2600Mhz mem speed.

The only negative is the lack of sub timings available in the BIOS. You are allowed to change all the standard ones, and about half a dozen secondary ones, but thats it. Dropped the read/copy scores in AIDA64 to 14-16K vs 24-26K with the Gigabyte board that I had.

Took some pics, but PB is down right now. My GTX-670 FTW is nearly twice as long as the mobo :D

Will continue to update as parts come in, and the OC progresses. Final build wont be finished until the case comes.
 
That PSU is 160mm and it's modular... you may want to look at Anand's review of the Bitfenix Prodigy using a 160mm modular PSU, and specifically the comments regarding the difficulty in fitting it in there with the modular cables sticking out the back end of it.

With my build I chose a 140mm long PSU that'll put out enough juice for a GTX 680, the Silverstone Strider Plus 500W Fully Modular PSU.

Anandtech Review (3rd paragraph down has the comments regarding PSU size and modular cabling).

I'm building my mITX rig for the same reason as you (less bulk for my LAN parties) so the Silverstone PSU makes sense at only 4 lbs. Saves you at least 1 pound over any comparable PSU that'll put out that level of power, and the fan on it is completely silent based on several good review sites. I'm even using the same motherboard and CPU as you (thanks Microcenter!) and also have my Bitfenix Prodigy ordered (Black, from NCIX)... can't wait for it to show up! Per the comments on Bitfenix's Facebook page NCIX should've received their shipment of the cases late in the week (Thursday/Friday), and once they got them they would turn around and re-ship what they need to ship down to California, then distribute it from there out to the pre-order customers. I'm hoping I get mine before Thursday next week, but since I haven't seen a shipment notice yet that'll be kinda' tough. :(
 
Loving your build! I personally prefer the looks of the Crucial Ballistix RAM though :p A few subtle white LEDs can only make your overall build look better though. :D
