So I have decided it's time for an upgrade and made the decision to go back to watercooling once again. I've been kicking myself for not doing a
work log of my last rig (which is floating around with a [H]ard member out there somewhere) so I decided to go ahead and make one this time around.
This is the basicly the layout I have decided on... I'm still making up my mind on the blocks and parts I'm going to be using. I'm planning on making
the right angle turns you see in the layout, but my change my mind depending on how it affects the performance of the loop. I also decided to stick
with my existing GTX 260 for now until the next wave of GPUs is released, then I will be upgrading this as well.
My first batch of parts came in today...
Just installed my AeroCool Touch-2000, still need to set up the temp probes though. Also got the motherboard
in the case with the CM Real Power PSU. Lots and lots of wires...
I installed the stock cooler until I decide on my WC gear and ran my power wires and what not... I have to
try and swing by MicroCenter and pick up some sleaving supplies in the next few days.
More to come...
