I'm building a new system with an Antec 900 case.

Components:

Antec 900
EVGA 680i & C2D E6400
2x 7800 GTX SLi
2x1G Corsair Dominator XMS 6400C4D
Tt 700w SLi PSU
Zalman 9700

Well, I didn't like the bare steal inside the case, so I decided to paint it Blue. My color scheme will be Black & Blue.

I sanded it and primed/painted it with Auto paint in the can. I used to build plastic models, so I'm pretty good at painting/masking. It came out really good I think...

Then I stealthed the CD/DVD drive, because it was beige, uck! Also, 2 brand new 7800GTX ftw! . This thing had small rubber feet, which I didn't like, so I took these nice silver stands off my old case.

Thats it for now, I'll post with more updates.

sli sounds cooler?

nice paint, i used to build a lot of models myself. you should pull the cover from that cdrom and paint it to, that would look cool.. though i guess it would scratch pretty easily when you slide it back in. i dunno, looks good though, can't wait to see more

lol, well... I got a deal on newegg for open box items. I got both shipped for $400.00

Had the system built, my camera was on the fritz. So here is the completed system build. I'm happy with it. Specially the cool temps from the Antec 900 case, wow!

lol, I think the wood paneling adds a "special touch". In the basement of an old house...

Looks pretty good, the paint sets it off just enough to cause a 2nd look. I'd probably paint the feet black so they don't look too out of place with the case, the light blue wouldn't look right IMO, though if you did a narrow blue stripe down the middle of each foot, and could find some light blue pinstriping that closely matched the blue paint for accents on the outside of the case, that'd look cool :)

ah thanks. Nice suggestion, I may just do that, the light blue pin striping on the outside...

I put a pair of ~1/8" silver pinstriping spaced about 1/4" apart off-center of my TJ06, and I like it, sets it apart at a glance from the others I've seen. Last big lan party I went to (~250 people) there were 3 or 4, so until I had a good bearing on where my seat was it made it easier to find. I just sorta threw it on one day ('bout 9 months ago), and surprisingly it hasn't peeled at all. I just got a roll of the stuff from Autozone. But to get the light blue you may have to go to somewhere that can create decals. I know someone that's done some big signs and custom auto decals in the Flint area. He gave me a little walkthrough of his shop and the room where his vinyl was he had a ton of different colors.

I have the same system coming monday ,I did not get a fan yet I wanted the 9700nt but it looks green at the zalman web site so i was going to get the led model is yours green ?

Ya the led on the 9700NT is green, but it's barely noticible in my case with all the blue led's and neon stick. I actually like the green, it sets it off a bit. I also like the chrome fan sinks, it looks cleaner than the copper colored one.

lol, you have the same components as mine?, sweet. Let me know how your system build goes? Mine screams, and stays nice and cool with this case.

I OC'd the E6400 easily to 3.35GHz 46C load. vcore @ 1.4v
