Hey guys, I've ordered all my stuff now and slowly getting all the parts together then I will begin modding my case to fit the new watercooling parts. I will update this worklog, as I make additions to the case...

Firstly, these are the parts I'm ordering/ordered:
(All prices are an approximate of when bought and are in AUD)

SILVERPROP CYCLONE FUSION HL GPU Block $80

Dangerden Fillerport - 1/2" - Colour Choice $19 (Silver)

3 Meters of TYGON R3603 1/2" ID HOSE per metre ($18) = $54

SWIFTECH MCP-650 12V Pump $149

Polypropylene "T" 1/2" $3.50

Silverprop Silverstorm 4 Radiator (Bought for $80 from forums, pics below)

2 x 120mm Fans ($45 from forums)

Nexus SX chipset cooler with intel clip $80

Cathar's Stormblock G4 (For Socket LGA 775) (Still to be ordered)

I am still up in the air for the best way to go about taking off the top panel for modding. I know i will be dremeling it out to fit the rad/shroud but unsure if i should just remove all my components and dremel with it attached, or if i should go out and buy a pop rivert gun and do it that way...

Pics so far:

Radiator:

Radiator has a few scratches, I'm probably going to buy some car touch up paint and make sure it looks all good before it goes in :)

Case in current state:

Mods done so far:
Bought the PC-65 Window kit, added a huey applique
Cable sleeved (vantec kit) my Antec Truepower 480W

Why watercool this system?
Well, mainly because i have a Prescott LGA775 3ghz, and under load (for example in NFSU2 and HL2) i get temps of around 65-70 Degrees! :O

Any questions or comments or even suggestions are most welcome! :)

Thanks

To make things easier, you could use image tags for those pictures. As long as they end in something.jpg or .bmp, or whatever image filetype, you'll see the picture instead of a link. Image tags look like this:
Code:
 [img] that image's link.jpg [/img]

Word. It would be great for lazy non-56k people like me :D

I could but won't edit those img tags until all pictures are resized, just stupid when you have to scroll on a 1600x1200 desktop.

Please keep them as links until they are at a more suitable size.

my feelings exactly

Are you planning to paint the inside of the case at all? I prefer the look of a nice paintjob over the Alu look. The scheme you choose should match the cables (red). You can always leave it as is to match the silver outside though. I'm glad to see that you too have mounted your harddrives backwards to hide the IDE/SATA cables. I did the same but had to cut slits in my intake fan since I have IDE drives.

Myself, flat4, and others have all painted the inside of our PC-60/61 Lian-Li's and can give you any tips you may need. See my Stargate log or flat4's Dark Angel log for pics.

I recommend spending $20 USD for a pop rivet gun to just drill out and remove the inside to be re-riveted later. I just used painters tape to mask off the different parts to be painted rather than drilling out the rivets but it takes more time since I could only work on one paint color at a time.

flat4 and some other people can give you advice for mouting the radiator in the top of the case.

You should take a permenant marker (red to match sleeving) and "paint" the USB rear cords rather than having the ugly beige ones. Here's an example from my case.

SG1 Electrical 010.jpg

SG1 Electrical 011.jpg

Sleeve that AGP molex and either sleeve that rear 80mm fan, route it behind the motherboard, or splice some wire in to make it longer so that it is easier to hide. There are a few other sections that need some more sleeving as well. I'm guessing that you ran out. Places like SVC.com sell sleeving by the foot in four sizes in different colors. That way you can order what you need rather than ordering another sleeving kit. I don't know if they ship internationally though.

Rather than post more pics, just look at this part of my worklog. You can see where I extended my rear 80mm fan, hid my PCI and AGP slots, and how easily the "painted" USB cord is hidden.

Either remove the label on the harddrive facing the window or cut a piece of plexi and paint it to cover it up so that it isn't showing through the drive cage holes. All of these suggestions can really clean your case up so that it looks even greater.

Resize your pics to 800x600. Google for Photographers Power Toys for a great free program that lets you right click on a picture and select resizing. Then post them using the
tags.

Hope that helps. :)

Hey guys,

Did some serious dremeling today, (so the rad and fans can now be inserted/mounted into case)

I still have to file it down a bit so it fits flush, will do that tomorrow or the coming day when my Nexus chipset cooler and G4 storm get here :)

Here are the pics from today:

(yes, my first time dremeling :( )

Hey guys,

After a failed leak test, and much much effort by Maximus666 and myself i finally have my water cooling rig up and running.
It's not 100% finished yet, as i am getting a nexus sx chipset block and fan filetered guards and when i get them ill be using tonix water and blue coolant to get a blue system.

Couple pics so far:
