There have been other threads, with several people reporting lower ppd, but apperntly not enough to cause him to reevaluate it. Bruce over at the folding forum gave me thisUnfortunately, unless I am finding that a lot of people are having the same problems as you, I can't change the statscredit (as it would be unfair to everyone who hasn't had problems). Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks very much for your feedback
line of crap. I was surprised he didn't tell me to plug my computer in.You're probably seeing low point values because you're not running with optimizations. All WUs are benchmarked with SSE optimizations on, and if your hardware doesn't have SIMD, Gromacs will run unoptimized, but comparatively slower than Tinker. They keep talking about discontinuing Tinker, and if/when it happens you'll probably decide to discard all those older machines, or at least quit worrying about the points.

Yes, and as Bruce mentioned they may be getting rid of Tinkers and want to put in deadlineless Gromacs. For more info just search on my user name over there and you will see many more threads. This could just be a case of poor performance on AMD's and we should just turn our machines off.p[H]ant0m said:To answer some of your questions, take a look at this thread: http://forum.folding-community.org/viewtopic.php?t=13923&highlight=761
