programs start minimized but dont maximize (Vista)

This problem seems to only happen with podcast recievers. like juiced and doppler. They seem to work perfectly for the first couple of days, and all of a sudden, when i go to run the program, they start up minimized, but when i click on it, it doesnt maximize. I have tried everything, Alt+Tab, "Run as Administrator", close the program, restarting, and nothing works.

What should i do? i am running Windows Vista.
