Program to convert to ico

Hi, I'm looking for a simple program (free if possible) that can convert png or jpg to ico format so that I can change the icons on my desktop. I dont plan on creating my own, just downloading from sites like Deviant art. Any help is greatly appreciated

Try using some of the online ones, some work pretty well:

Irfanview is the best app for image conversions like this

You can just rename a .bmp to .ico and it will work
