Is there currently a program that works to lock refresh rates at 100hz or 120hz at 1920x1080 for CRTs with Windows 7?

Should be an "EDID Override" tool floating around to let you hack the refresh rates for CRT's in W7. There should be a tutorial on the link, and some sort of repacker (requires 2 programs) to repackage the INI. You may have to google it. Works fine, though; easily passes that 85 hz limit.

Um, try this:

Although what worked for me (without RT) was http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/7947-force-dvi-hdmi-resolutions-refresh-rates.html
Maybe because I'm running W7 in test mode, or ATI drivers behave nicer with it....beats me....

I have a program that creates overrides without having to do all that: Custom Resolution Utility

Make it the first detailed resolution to make games use the higher refresh rate.
