When the high end pc boutiques lasercut a hole for a window into the side of a case, how do they attached the acrylic window?

I ask becuase no bolts\rivets appear from the outside and I would think glue on the inside would not be that durable.

you'd be surprised how strong epoxy resin is. not sure if that's how they do it though.

Really, I have heard of using commercial double sided 3M tape for neon tubes but not a window

Depends on the shop. Some use double sided tape. Some epoxy gaskets in place. Some are crazy like me and actually add mounting studs to the panel. All of these work.

Double sided tape seems the simplest route for me. But won't it make the window not sit flush to the side case panel?

Use Gaffer's tape, or the double sided stuff used for kitchen/bathroom tiles.

I siliconed mine in place

has been there for years, it's not going anywhere any time soon....

You would probably brake the plexy by punching it before the silicone gives...

^^ same here with my old case, works well and can provide sound dampening if you have a fan mounted on the window. Selleys waterproof sealant ftw
