This may be a no brainer for most of you but I'm feeling kinda dumb. I'm getting ready to build my first system and i'm trying to make sure everything is going to work together. I already got my MOBO a Asus PND2-SLI Deluxe and I'm getting ready to get my CPU I'm looking hard at the P4 650 3.4GHz I see that this chip supports HT but I'm worried about the EMT64. Intels website says the MOBO and BIOS must support 64 bit operations to work at all (which my board does) I already have WXP Home edition SP2 am I going to have to go out and get XP Pro64 or will my current OS work? I know that I'm going to be operating at 32bit I'm mainly looking for the highest speed i can afford (CPU speed and FSB) any input would be awsome thanks

You'll be fine with either OS.
