I have a AMD Athlon XP 2500+ "Barton", 333 FSB, 512K Cache Processor on a Asus A7N8X-X board, but when I boot up my PC it reads it as and AMD 1900+.

I tried to go into the bios to try to change it but it won't work..

PC boots up fine, just its at the wrong speed..What do i do?

My XP2000+ does this aswell the same as my friends XP3000+ it sometimes reads as an 1800+ but it performs fine in benchmarks and cpuz shows it at 2.1GHz so it seems to be fine. I dunno about you but check its speed in cpuz and see what that turns up.
