Friend just gave me a "2100xp" AMD and when I ran the comp the setup screen before bios says "Main CPU AMD 1500+". Is it possible theres a wrong setting or outdated bios.. or its really a 1500 and not a 2100?

Your BIOS is most likely just set to the wrong bus speed. Change it from 100 to 133MHz.
