I think this is a power related issue so ill post it here.

I woke up one morning to find all of my fans spinning, besides my cpu fan and the 2 fans i have connected to my mobo. I'm thinking "well great i just blew my motherboard or psu". But I figured itd be easier for me to check and see if the PSU was the culprit, so I swap it out with some off brand PSU I got with a case I bought a while back. Everything fires up just fine. But heres the problem.. doing anything besides surfing the internet or instant messaging, every 2-10 minutes my hard drive will make a clicking noise, and it seems like the motor has stopped and my computer locks up. Then it will spin back up again and my computer is fine and dandy, dont have to reboot or anything. Or, it will click, spin back up, click, spin back up serveral times and come back to normal, or just keeps clicking and spinning all the way until I get fed up and reboot. I really don't know whats going on, but I'm thinking my hard drive isnt getting enough power, help any one?
