Do you think that's normal? I think I get that too.. but only for 1 second when I exit games.

thats prolly just cause you're changing resolutions.

no thats not what mine is doing it keeps going on and off every few seconds and it doesent do it all the time and it will usually do it for a min or so going on and off

Monitor goes on and off for a minute you say? That cannot be normal.

What kinda monitor are you using? Did it do this with your old 3d card?

Been using CCC drivers for a long time with multiple ATI cards I have always had the little on/off flicker with starup. The screen goes black and back again in a second or so, but nothing like you describe. Have you disabled display detection from CCC ?

Now that I think about it, when I first got my X1900 card I hooked my monitor and projector to DVI outputs and on start up I did not get any signal for my monitor. I changed the DVI outputs and it started to work perfectly. Guess I originally hooked my monitor on secondary DVI output or something.

basically the computer acts goofy at start up and sometimes when i exit the game maybe not for a min but it will shut on and off about 8 times or so it didnt do this with my last card im using a gateway 19 inch widescreen ive used the stock drivers and the omega drives im beinging to think its because of windows media cender edition i have on here the drivers say windows xp only and i know ppl have had some similar problems with stuff like this

hmm, mine does it only when the ingame resolution is different from my desktop one. It may be changing refresh rate....ANd mine would only do it couple of times if that, right times is way too much. The only thing I could think of is resoultion.
