Problems with Vindictus login

Is anyone able to sign up for your Nexon Passport for this game? I'm trying to sign up but when I click done, after filling in the fields, I get an error about "Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types."

I don't see how it's my computer but I tried this like 3 weeks ago and got the same thing. It's just hard to imagine nobody has brought this to their attention, which is why I think it might be my computer somehow... I don't see what it could be though.

So is anyone else able to register their account?

I started a character tonight. I had no problems registering and downloading the game.

I find that if I have issues signing up and the system doesn't give me useful information. It's because my password contains something their system does not allow. I use a password database and let it auto-generate so the usual typing in of the password is not detected properly ...and doesn't throw out errors on messed up passwords when you tab down to enter it a second time like some checks do. Check that would be my only suggestion aside from blockers possibly blocking something. Noscript for instance.

Hmmm. I don't think this is the issue for me. The password I'm trying to use isn't very strong and doesn't contain any special characters. Just letters and numbers. I will try it on a different computer and see if I can get it to work. Thanks for the suggestion!

Did you download the game and create your account through the game UI or did you go to this website and register? Now that I think about it, I don't even have a beta key. For some reason I thought it was open but it doesn't appear to be that way.

As far as I know the game has been made public. I downloaded the client first then registered at the website. Game is awesome btw...based on production alone I'm not getting that, "ok you can tell this is a free to play game." feeling.

Well wtf? I am officially stumped then. I couldn't register on a different computer because I got the same error as before. I don't know what else it could be. I guess it just doesn't want me to play. I guess I'll try contacting them tonight if I can't get it to work. I don't know if I will go that far or not.
