My sound just stopped working during my last restart.. now, when I start windows, it has the windows startup sound playing.. THEN, no sound play anymore such as mp3, midi, etc.

I can hear sound only when I hit mute on the keyboard very quickly - it gives half a milisecond of sound or so... I think this is some kind of software problems?

I am using Creative Audigy 2 with surround sound speaker setup... it worked fine for several months, but stopped working last restart (with no changes to the drivers or anything).

Anyone have any ideas?
 
Uninstall then reinstall drivers? that usually does it for me with problems like this...
