Problems with picture on my LCD TV.

Hi guy's i'm new so a quick hello to you all. I just purchased a nice Sony Wega 32" LCD TV and have wired it all up to my PC. I've followed various websites advice and have managed to get a near perfect picture. The problem i'm having is that i can't size down the image that the TV is picking up. It's huge, I have to scroll the mouse along to the edge of the screen to scroll over the rest of the dispaly.

I've tried loads of settings with my resolution, made it fit but the Windows bar across the bottom and all program windows are just way too big to see anything.

Any ideas guys. I'm about to pull my hair out lol.

Oh forgot to mention, i'm using the cable that came with my computer. Think it's S/Video with red, white and yellow plugs that go into a scart. But i'm not using the scart connector as I get a better pircture without it.
