had this happen to me over the weekend, curios to see if its happened to anyone else.

my opteron picked up 2 new units ive never seen before, dont remember the name off the top of my head.

huge units, took like 34 minutes per frame, where the last biggest one i've seen (686) pointer olny took like 26 minutes per frame.

EM3 showed all the stuff like is usually does but UNK for the points, which i figured was prolly cause they were new work units or something.

so 40 hours later it finishes them up like usuall, and goes to turn them in, and errors out, i try haveing it resubmit them a few times and no luck.

the Error it comes up with is that the work server has no record of thoese units.

I backed up the folders, and just started some new ones, but its kinda a bummer to have 40 hours x2 units go down the tube like that, almost wonder if i should turn the advanced flag back off, seems almost like the assignment server gave out some units that they wernt ready for or something.

Before you backup-deleate the work-units, check the status of the server that the work units are trying to get sent to.
A the moment I've got a work-unit waiting for server 141 to come back up.

If thats the case just leave them in the que and hope Stanford get the server back up before you do another eight work-units and then whipe all the saved data.

Luck.......... :D

This WU? p2352_FKBP

in which was you're waiting for 171.65.103.150...... and it looks a little overloaded... (20-30 connections)..... that may be the cause?

Keep on Folding!! For the [H]orde!!

yea thanks guys,

i tryed to turn em in just now and it looks like they went this time, still no idear what they were worth, but just makes me feel better the 40+ hours of cpu time on both cores didnt go to waste :)

I had that on a work-borg today....p2108....don't know the points on it, but took ~40 min/frame. Started trying to send sometime around 4 am....still not accepted as of 530pm. Got the same "server has no record of wu" error. Hope this beta wu has a nice payload......for 70hrs of crunhing time.

If you've got some WU's that are showing unknown point values, I'd suggest you check LPerry's site, www.em-dc.com and see if he's published an update protein dat file. He does that pretty regulary or if he hasn't you can always submit the unit data out of EM3 to him so he can get it added.
