Hi, I have a few issues that with a new computer I built.

Specs are:
Phenom II X6 1090T
Asus M4A89GTD USB3.0/Pro
HD5870
Corsair TX750
Corsair XMS3 1600MHz DDR3 4GB
Coolit E.C.O.
Antec 900

I did a modest overclock @ 3.8 Ghz, which I tested using prime 95 for 3 hours, temps and everything were stable.(About 2 weeks ago) Recently, an error of "Overclocking failed" popped up on boot. Once settings were reset to default, it booted. Perhaps something came loose in this time interval? It seems like that should be an easy overclock for this setup, so what kinds of hardware problems should I be checking for?

Another issue I have is with the USB ports. Whenever I plug in something in either the front or mobo ports, the other USB devices don't work anymore. Is this more likely a hardware or software issue?

Thanks for the help in advance.

The USB problem sounds more like a hardware issue. Either the USB ports on the case or mobo is defective.

As for your overclock reset, 3 hours with Prime 95 was not long enough for a proper OC test. As such, your OC may have required more voltage for prolonged operations. Try testing for 24 hours next time. And yes, 24 hours.
