Well I have had a x800 Pro VIVO video card that was flashed to a x800 xt PE. It has been working great this whole time. Then tonight I noticed it was artifacting a bit. So I turned down the memory clock speed... right when I did that the screen went all wacky. I decided to feel the memory and it was burning hot. Why would it be burning hot? Its the same memory thats on a x800 xt. Well anyways I turned it down and it seem to be working better and getting no artifacts. If anyone can shoot me some info on how i should go about cooling it better than please let me know. Thank you.

Oh and the temp of the card says 31C all the time (its on water cooling) So maybe I just need to cool the memory a bit more, but I hear that ram sinks dont help at all....

Well its only happening in world of warcraft now... strange i dunno why its doing that only in that game. I turned down the OC just a tiny bit and it fixed the problem in all other games, In WoW it gives me like weird flashing lights on the screen (like something is messing up in the core) i dont understand why tho cause WoW is not a very intense game...

I found the memory on those cards to be hot regardless if its a real XT or not. And the cards that I have had that did not reach successful speeds were all due to memory. I have a 6800 Ultra right now and the mem sinks on this card get just as hot as the ATI's... Which is why I guess my mem doesn clock higher than 1.15.. :(
