Problems with my TV Wonder

Hey guys, I am having sound issues with my TV Wonder card.

I am using it to watch TV and records TV shows. I have the sound plugged into the Line-In on my Audigy. However when I watch TV, I hear two sounds coming in. One sound is the imediate sound coming from the Line-in. The other sound is from the TV program. The one from the TV Program is slightly delayed to be in sync with TV picture. But I can't get rid of the first one without getting rid of the other. Muting the the Line-in also mutes the sound from the program. When the program records, it records the wrong sound, and the sound isn't quite in sync with the TV. How can I set it up so that the sound is just right on? I have tried plugging it into everything, but still no luck. Plugging it into the mic connection works fine, but sounds terrible. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Okay it sounds like the program is actually recording the tv and then playing it back rather than just displaying live tv. What you need to do in this situation is set your mixer to record from line in(this is the important part) and also mute the line in(but keep the line in volume up). By muting it it won't get passed to your speakers, but by having it selected to record your tv program will be able to pick up on it. At least that is how I have mine set up(I use mythtv which is a tivo-like program).

The program I am using is Guide Plus+ that came with my card. Is it possible to change the sound setting in that program? Cause I cannot find it

you have to change it from the sound settings, either double click the speaker icon in your taskbar or open it from the control panel

Both suggestions, do not work. the first one if I mute the line in but keep the volume up, all volume is gone. Even when I record I still don't get any sound. As for the second suggestion if I mute it in the TV program, I get one sound, but it is delayed a little, and is really annoying.

Any other ideas?
